The Clippers have already added several talented role players in the offseason, and with the addition of another talented scorer this would become a deep team with one of the best trios in the NBA.
With a core of Gay, Chris Paul and Blake Griffin, the team would not only become a contender this season, but have young stars to build around for years to come.
However, that would change if the Clippers were able to package players and picks to acquire Gay. neighbors have struggled, the Lakers still have better pieces and a significantly stronger core.
